Dependence of correlations between spectral accelerations at multiple periods on magnitude and distance 下载免费PDF全文
In this paper, the dependence of correlations between spectral accelerations at multiple periods on magnitude (M) and distance (R) has been investigated. For this purpose, a relatively large dataset of ground motion records (GMRs), containing 1551 records with a wide range of seismic characteristics, was selected. It is shown that the difference in the correlation coefficient is statistically meaningful when the general GMR dataset is divided into two subsets based on an arbitrary M or R. The observed difference is more meaningful in the case of magnitude when compared with distance. The general dataset of GMRs was then divided into four separate subsets based on optimum values of M and R, so that the four obtained subsets were given the greatest dissimilarity in terms of the correlation coefficients. The correlation coefficients between spectral accelerations at multiple periods were calculated in the case of the four subsets and compared with the available correlations in the literature. The conditional mean spectrum was also calculated by means of the conventional correlation coefficients, as well as by using the proposed M and R dependent correlation coefficients. The results show that, despite the commonly available findings in the literature, this dependence is significant and should not be neglected in the conditional spectra calculation process. Building structures damaged by a seismic event may be exposed to the risk of aftershocks or another event within a certain period. In this paper, the seismic assessment of damaged piloti‐type RC buildings was carried out to evaluate probabilistic retrofitting effects under successive earthquakes. First, a framework to evaluate the effectiveness of retrofitting was proposed, and then the proposed methodology was demonstrated with a structure retrofitted with buckling‐restrained braces (BRBs). For consideration of realistic successive earthquakes, past records measured at the same station were combined. Within the framework, a series of nonlinear time history analyses were performed for an as‐is model subjected to single earthquake, a damaged model subjected to successive earthquakes, and a damaged model retrofitted with BRBs subjected to successive earthquakes. In addition, fragility analysis was systematically applied in the framework for evaluation of effectiveness of the retrofitting strategy. The proposed framework was capable of quantifying the influence of successive earthquakes and evaluating the effectiveness of BRB retrofitting by considering the severity of the first earthquake damage and the hysteresis behavior of the retrofit element. 通过采用现场实测和数值模拟方法,对某超高层建筑的风致振动特性进行研究。在建筑物顶部布置结构振动监测系统,对常态风和台风作用下的结构振动响应进行测量,分析加速度、位移幅值和结构的自振特性。以实测动力特性为基础,建立超高层建筑的等效气动弹性模型,采用平均风剖面入口,联合ANSYS和CFX对风场与建筑物的流固耦合振动进行数值模拟,得到不同顶部风速下,建筑物不同高度处的位移时程、气动力系数时程及频谱分析、尾流旋涡脱落模式。将数值模拟结果与现有的实测结果进行对比分析,表明该方法模拟流固耦合振动是可行的,并可为实际超高层建筑的抗风设计和舒适性计算提供技术依据。 相似文献

在应急抢险救援中,临时用房的防雷安全一直为世人所关注。通过对临时用房特点阐述,分析了GB50057-1994的局限性,并采用IEC62305推荐方法对临时用房安装防雷装置进行判定分析。结果表明:GB50057-1994对建筑物防雷装置安装的判定指标不适用于临时用房,IEC62305推荐方法适用于临时用房安装防雷装置的判定;临时用房是否安装防雷装置与临时用房的大小尺寸和雷电日参数相关,在此基础上获得了临时用房雷电灾害风险值与其面积和周长、雷电日的关系式,为快速判定是否安装防雷装置提供理论依据。 相似文献
